I was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, went to college in Burlington, Vermont, and have spent most of my career living and working in Shanghai, China. I like tennis, books, stinky cheese, and my friends and family.
In Shanghai, I covered Chinese healthcare policy as managing editor at a healthcare organization, and later led a multimedia communications team tasked with producing editorial and video content for Ford's Asia Pacific operation. I’ve also worked as a full-time travel writer and freelanced for clients ranging from global finance and energy companies to F&B and non-profits. I have lived in Ann Arbor since 2019 and now work at the University of Michigan Law School, where I manage alumni communications and serve as editor of Law Quadrangle, the Law School’s biannual magazine.
